MALINI SINGH MCDONALD
...is a native New Yorker who received her BA in Theatre Arts and English Literature, Baruch College and her MFA in Directing, Actors Studio Drama School. She is a founder of both Black Henna Productions and Theatre Beyond Broadway. She has collaborated with The Anthropologists, Broadway Artists Connection, and Mind the Art Entertainment. Select directing theatre credits include The Wiz (Matsiko World Orphan Choir, Liberia); Torch Song Trilogy; Look Back in Anger, The Colored Museum, The Jewish Wife. Malini is on the board of the League of Professional Theatre Women, a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and Statera Arts. Malini was a producer on the Broadway revival of Godspell as well as on the producing team of Chasing Rainbows at Paper Mill.
