Montauk Village Green

The word ‘Zima’ is Polish for winter, so the backdrop for this performance couldn’t be more fitting. ZIMA!, an interactive winter journey, combines mystery, poetry, theater and exploration. Bundle up and seek out the wild characters hidden about town to try and solve the riddle. Hunt begins at the gazebo on the Montauk Village Green and groups move through every 15 minutes with the final group leaving at 3:00 PM. Walking journey takes about one hour.

Sponsored in part by The Montauk Chamber of Commerce with added support from The Montauk Playhouse.

what young cowgirls are saying

It was like one of the experiences in my life that I’d never forget. It was really fun.

– Lua

When I came to my first Young Cowgirl workshop, at first I felt sad, but by the end I felt I was home.

– Sarah

One of the greatest feelings I felt in the workshop was when I could just look at something I've directed and be like this is what i wanted… I created this… I feel accomplishment, and it’s great.

– Sophie

what's been said about Kate mueth

"Fun, deep, passionate, sexy, literary, food for personal change, a rite of passage, community, balanced, and way unbalanced, Anything Kate creates will touch all of your senses.  Even your nonsenses.

Looking for more? See Kate Mueth."

– Duncan Haile, Haile Art Foundation

“Kate Mueth is a master teacher. Her classes and workshops have changed the trajectory of my son’s life. Her unique teaching style allows for a safe and relaxed space for authentic self exploration, self discovery and self expression. In the process of learning a craft my son found his creative center and himself. With each class he emerged more confident and self assured.”
