BATTLE OF THE FANTASY GIRL BANDS
NPC is grateful for the ongoing and tireless support of Christine Sciulli and Holly Li and their committed, annual event The Battle of the Fantasy Girl Bands that empowers women, brings our community together and helps to fund our education outreach, community placemaking and public programming. Through generous and creative efforts like The Battle of the Fantasy Girl Bands, our efforts are lifted, impactful, and continue to thrive.
BATTLE OF THE FANTASY GIRL BANDS is a fundraising project co-created by Christine Sciulli and Holly Li, which combines the power of community, creativity and cacophony: the effects of which are felt long after the fantasies are over. BATTLE OF THE FANTASY GIRL BANDS is an amateur band competition where womens' empowerment in its wildest form and fierce community fundraising meet in the fulfillment of Rock and Roll Fantasy.
Funds are raised for the educational programs and work of The Neo-Political Cowgirls, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) dance theatre company founded by multi-faceted theater artist Kate Mueth to create work rooted in an inclusive narrative. NPC's educational programs include January Girls, Dude's Eye View and Girls Gaze. Must be 21 to enter. Follow us @battleofthefantasygirlbands
